These photos are of Bedouins, the semi-nomadic tribes, who had very little contact, if any, with people who were not from the desert. It all changed in the late 1970’s with the development of tourism, roads and with the return of the Egyptians as a result of the peace with Israel.
A great opportunity to see documentation of life that does not exist anymore.
